  Excellent breads and pastries, no doubt. Favourite loaf is the Barley and Rye Sourdough. Their sandwiches and lunch menu are excellent, with some pies, quiches and sausage rolls on offer. I can never turn down the Reuben. Coffee is from Cabrito Coffee whose sister cafe is Welcome Dose just nearby in the Saporium. Seriously worth trying with large communal tables.

  The fried eggs, mushrooms, avocado and toast took about 20 minutes to arrive.

  The toast and eggs weren’t warm, it was as if they’d been siting on the counter for 10 minutes waiting to be brought to the table.

  The wait staff finally brought out the plate and managed to give absolutely no hint of care; no ‘sorry for the delay’ and no ‘can I get anything else for you’.

  Staff are friendly. The decor is a quirky mix of (re-used?) seating, smaller private tables and larger communal tables.
